Naučni skup „Primjena Zakona o parničnom postupku u Bosni i Hercegovini i regionu“

Prvi naučni skup na Pravnom fakultetu nakon nastavka rada u sastavu Univerziteta u Sarajevu Republike Srpske, održan je u junu 2007. godine, na temu „Primjena Zakona o parničnom postupku u Bosni i Hercegovini i regionu“. Na ovom naučnom skupu referate su izložila 24 referenta iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Slovenije, Hrvatske i Makedonije. Referate su predstavili profesori pravnih fakulteta iz Istočnog Sarajeva, Banje Luke, Beograda, Niša, Kragujevca, Prištine (Kosovske Mitrovice), Skoplja, Ljubljane, Splita i Sarajeva, kao i sudije Ustavnog suda Bosne i Hercegovine, Suda Bosne i Hercegovine, Vrhovnog suda Republike Srpske, Okružnog suda u Istočnom Sarajevu, Apelacionog suda Brčko Distrikta te predstavnici Regulatorne agencije za električnu energiju Republike Srpske.
U zborniku radova objavljenom nakon održavanja naučnog skupa štampano je 25 referata na 494 strane. Urednik Zbornika bila je prof. dr Ranka Račić, a Uređivački odbor činili su prof. dr Ranka Račić i ass. Dimitrije Ćeranić, dok su u Organizacionom odboru skupa bili: prof. dr Ranka Račić, prof. dr Vladimir Čolović, prof. dr Stanka Stjepanović, ass. Milica Dragičević i ass. Dimitrije Ćeranić.
Naučni skup „Aktuelnost i značaj ljudskih prava i sloboda“

Intenzivan i sistematski naučno-istraživački rad na Pravnom fakultetu Univerziteta u Istočnom Sarajevu započeo je u drugoj polovini 2010. godine, kada je Nastavno-naučno vijeće donijelo odluku da povodom Dana fakulteta organizuje naučni skup na temu „Aktuelnost i značaj ljudskih prava i sloboda“, s nadom da ovakvi skupovi postanu tradicionalni. Ovaj skup održan je oktobra 2010. godine i na njemu su referate izložila 22 referenta iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije i Crne Gore.
Nakon toga, 2011. godine objavljen je zbornik radova u kome je na 452 strane objavljeno 27 referata. U ovom zborniku, referate su objavili profesori i asistenti sa pravnih fakulteta u Istočnom Sarajevu, Beogradu, Novom Sadu, Kragujevcu, Nišu, Banjoj Luci, Podgorici, Mostaru (Univerzitet „Džemal Bijedić“), zatim sa Ekonomskog fakulteta Sveučilišta u Mostaru, Filozofskog fakulteta u Istočnom Sarajevu, Fakulteta političkih nauka u Sarajevu, te iz institucija Ombudsmana za ljudska prava Bosne i Hercegovine i Gender centra Vlade Republike Srpske. Naučni skup „Načela i vrijednosti pravnog sistema – norma i praksa“

Treći naučni skup, koji je imao međunarodni karakter, kako po sastavu učesnika, tako i po strukturi odbora koji su ga pripremali, održan je u okviru obilježavanja 65 godina Pravnog fakulteta, u oktobru 2011. godine. Tema naučnog skupa bila je „Načela i vrijednosti pravnog sistema – norma i praksa“ i na njemu su učestvovala 42 referenta. Rad skupa odvijao se u tri sekcije: Javnopravna, teorijskopravna i međunarodnopravna, Građanskopravna i privrednopravna, te Krivičnopravna. U radu skupa učestvovali su profesori i asistenti sa pravnih fakulteta iz Istočnog Sarajeva, Banje Luke, Beograda, Novog Sada, Niša, Kragujevca, Prištine (Kosovske Mitrovice), Skoplja, Tuzle, Zenice, Mostara (Univerzitet „Džemal Bijedić“) i Osijeka, kao i sa Fakulteta političkih nauka u Sarajevu i iz Ustavnog suda Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine i Pravnog instituta u Bosni i Hercegovini.
Nakon održavanja ovog naučnog skupa, 2012. godine izdat je zbornik radova, u kome je na 820 strana objavljeno 46 referata, čiji su autori iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Hrvatske, Makedonije, Crne Gore i Njemačke. Urednik ovog zbornika radova bio je doc. dr Goran Marković, a članovi Uređivačkog odbora: prof. dr Milan Tomić, prof. dr Oliver Antić, prof. dr Dijana Marković-Bajalović, prof. dr Dragan Pantić, prof. dr Mile Račić, doc. dr Goran Marković i viši asistent Sanja Golijanin, mr. Naučni skup „Prava djeteta i ravnopravnost polova – između normativnog i stvarnog“

U saradnji sa Gender centrom i Ombudsmanom za djecu Republike Srpske, Pravni fakultet je organizovao međunarodni naučni skup „Prava djeteta i ravnopravnost polova – između normativnog i stvarnog“. Skup je održan u junu 2012. godine i u njegovom radu su učestvovala 34 referenta. Ovo je bio prvi skup u regionu na kome su obrađivane teme koje se tiču prava djeteta i ravnopravnosti polova. Njima su se bavili ugledni stručnjaci iz oblasti prava, ekonomije, demografije i sociologije, ali i lica koja se u različitim institucijama na nivou Bosne i Hercegovine i Republike Srpske bave promocijom i zaštitom prava djeteta ili ravnopravnosti polova.
Na skupu su učestvovali referenti iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Hrvatske, Slovenije i Makedonije. Profesori i asistenti sa pravnih fakulteta došli su iz Istočnog Sarajeva, Banje Luke, Beograda, Sarajeva, Kragujevca, Mostara (Univerzitet „Džemal Bijedić“), Prištine (Kosovska Mitrovica), Tuzle, Skoplja, Novog Sada i Osijeka. Osim njih, referate su izlagali i naučni i stručni radnici sa Primorskog univerziteta u Kopru, Instituta društvenih nauka u Beogradu, Javnog fonda dječije zaštite Republike Srpske, Pravoslavnog bogoslovskog fakulteta u Foči, te Agencije za ravnopravnost polova Bosne i Hercegovine.
Ovo je bio prvi naučni skup na našem fakultetu na kome su studenti drugog ciklusa studija dobili priliku da izlažu referate. Rad naučnog skupa odvijao se u plenarnim sjednicama i u sekcijama: Prava djeteta u građanskom pravu, Pluralni aspekti prava djeteta, te Rodna ravnopravnost. Krajem 2012. godine objavljen je zbornik radova sa ovog naučnog skupa, u kome su na 616 strana objavljena 34 referata. Naučni skup „Harmonizacija građanskog prava u regionu“

Peti naučni skup na Pravnom fakultetu održan je oktobra 2012. godine, na temu „Harmonizacija građanskog prava u regionu“. U radu skupa učestvovalo je 25 referenata, a referati su izlagani u nekoliko sekcija: Istorijsko nasljeđe građanskog prava, Harmonizacija i unifikacija građanskog prava, Pozitivno građansko pravo, Pravo društava, Građansko procesno pravo i građanskopravni odnosi sa elementom inostranosti. U ovom zborniku, referate su objavili referenti iz Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Hrvatske, Makedonije i Crne Gore. Referenti su profesori i asistenti na pravnim fakultetima u Istočnom Sarajevu, Beogradu, Novom Sadu, Kragujevcu, Nišu, Prištini (Kosovskoj Mitrovici), Podgorici (Univerzitet „Mediteran“), Skoplju, Splitu, Banjoj Luci (Univerzitet „Apeiron“), te pravni stručnjaci iz Ministarstva pravde Republike Srpske, Ustavnog suda Republike Srpske i Vrhovnog suda Republike Srpske. Naučni skup „Vladavina prava i pravna država u regionu“

Međunarodni naučni skup „Vladavina prava i pravna država u regionu“, održan je, povodom Dana fakulteta, u oktobru 2013. godine. Organizatori skupa su odlučili da ponude ovu, uvijek aktuelnu, temu učesnicima skupa, zato što je riječ o principima na kojima treba da počiva organizacija i funkcionisanje moderne demokratske države, kao i zaštita pojedinca i njegovih prava i sloboda. Široko postavljena tema omogućila je referentima da istražuju ona pitanja koja smatraju važnim za teorijsko uobličavanje, pozitivnopravno normiranje i ostvarivanje načela vladavine prava i ideje pravne države.
U radu naučnog skupa je učestvovalo više od 50 referenata, koji su izlagali svoje referate podijeljeni u nekoliko sekcija: Ustavnopravna, upravnopravna i teorijskopravna oblast; Građanskopravna i privrednopravna oblast; Ostali javnopravni i istorijskopravni aspekti vladavine prava i pravne države.

Naučni skup „Odnos prava u regionu i prava Evropske unije“

Pravni fakultet je u oktobru 2014. godine organizovao naučni skup na temu „Odnos prava u regionu i prava Evropske unije“. U radu skupa je učestvovalo 60 referenata iz pet država (Bosna i Hercegovina, Srbija, Hrvatska, Makedonija i Crna Gora). Profesori i asistenti sa pravnih fakulteta došli su iz Istočnog Sarajeva, Banje Luke, Beograda, Niša, Kragujevca, Sarajeva, Mostara (Univerzitet „Džemal Bijedić“), Prištine (Kosovska Mitrovica), Tuzle, Skoplja, Novog Sada, Podgorice, Zagreba, Splita i Osijeka.

Naučni skup „Dvadeset godina Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma“

Ovaj naučni skup je posvećen dvadesetoj godišnjici potpisivanja Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma, koji je ustanovio novi pravni sistem u Bosni i Hercegovini. Dvadeset godina kontroverznog razvoja i primjene prava čiji su temelji postavljeni ovim mirovnim sporazumom bio je povod da naučni radnici iz zemlje i okruženja analiziraju pozitivno pravo u Bosni i Hercegovini, ukažu na njegove nedostatke i slabosti, te ponude svoja viđenja o tome kako bi pravni sistem trebalo unapređivati. Akcenat je bio na pravnom sistemu Bosne i Hercegovine, ali organizatori naučnog skupa su smatrali da ga je potrebno sagledati i sa teorijskopravnog i uporednopravnog aspekta, posebno imajući u obzir pravnu tradiciju koju Bosna i Hercegovina dijeli sa državama i pravnim sistemima u okruženju. Stoga, na skupu su izlagani i referati čiji autori su se bavili pojedinim institutima pravnih sistema iz okruženja.
U radu skupa je učestvovalo 60 referenata iz pet država: Bosne i Hercegovine, Srbije, Hrvatske, Crne Gore i Makedonije, koji su došli sa pravnih fakulteta iz: Istočnog Sarajeva, Beograda, Novog Sada, Niša, Kragujevca, Banje Luke, Sarajeva, Mostara, Tuzle, Podgorice, Zagreba, Splita, Osijeka i Skoplja.

Scientific Conference “Application of Law on Civil Procedure in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region“

The first scientific conference held at the Faculty of Law after it resumed work as a unit of the University in Sarajevo of Republic of Srpska was organized on the topic of “Application of Law on Civil Procedure in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region”. 24 authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and Macedonia took part in the conference. Papers were presented by law professors from East Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Belgrade, Niš, Kragujevac, Prishtina (Kosovska Mitrovica), Skopje, Ljubljana, Split and Sarajevo, as well as by judges of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Supreme Court of Republic of Srpska, District Court in East Sarajevo, Appelate Court of Brčko District and representatives of Regulatory Agency for Electric Energy of Republic of Srpska.
Collection of papers published after the conference featured 25 articles on 494 pages. Editor in chief was professor Ranka Račić. Comprehensive and systematic scientific and research work at the Faculty of Law of University in East Sarajevo began in the second half of 2010 when Educational and Scientific Council decided to organize what was hoped to become traditional scientific conference to mark the Day of the Faculty of Law. The conference was organized around the topic of “Currency and Relevance of Human Rights and Freedoms“, and was held in October 2010 when 22 authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro presented their papers.
The publication of proceedings from the conference followed featuring 27 articles on 452 pages. Authors were professors and teaching assistants from faculties of law in East Sarajevo, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš, Banja Luka, Podgorica, Mostar (Džemal Bijedić University), from Faculty of Economics of the University in Mostar, Faculty of Philosophy of the University in East Sarajevo, Faculty of Political Sciences in Sarajevo and from Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Gender Center of the Government of Republic of Srpska. Editor in chief, assistant professor Goran Marković presided over the editorial board consisting of professor Milan Tomić, professor Stanka Stjepanović and professor Dijana Marković-Bajalović. The third scientific conference which was international in its character both in terms of affiliation of its participants as well as in terms of the composition of the Organizing Committee. It was held in October 2011 on the occasion 65th anniversary of the Faculty of Law. 42 authors presented their papers on the topic of “Principles and Values of the Legal System – Norms and Practices“. The work was organized in three sections: Public law section, Theory of law and International law section; Civil law and Commercial law section and Criminal law section. Faculty of Law organized Scientific conference “Rights of Child and Gender Equality – Between Norms and Practices“ in cooperation with Gender Centre and Ombudsman for Children of Republic of Srpska. 34 authors took part in the conference which was held in June 2012. The first scientific gathering in the region to address issue of rights of child and gender equality presented the opportunity for distinguished experts in the field of law, economy, demography and sociology and representatives from different B&H and Republic of Srpska institutions to exchange views and share experience in promoting and fostering rights of child and gender equality.
Papers were presented by authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Macedonia. Professors and teaching assistants from faculties of law across the region (East Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Kragujevac, Mostar – Džemal Bijedić University, Prishtina – Kosovska Mitrovica, Tuzla, Skopje, Novi Sad and Osijek. Scientists and experts from University of Primorska in Kopar, Slevenia, Institute for Social Sciences in Belgrade, Public Fund for Protection of Children, Faculty of Orthodox Theology in Foča and Agency for Gender Equality of Bosnia and Herzegovina also presented their work.
This was the first conference held at our faculty to offer students of master studies the opportunity to present their papers. The work of the Conference was organized in plenary sessions and the following breakout sections: Rights of a child in civil law, Pluralistic aspects of the rights of a child and Gender Equality section. Toward the end of the 2012 a collection of papers from the Conference was published on 616 pages featuring 34 articles. Assistant professor Goran Marković presided over Editorial Board consisting of professor Stanka Stjepanović, professor Zoran Ponjavić, professor Marijan Pajvančić, professor Dejan Micković and senior teaching assistant Dimitrije Ćeranić. Technical design was carried out by senior teaching assistant Dimitrije Ćeranić.
Scientific Conference “Harmonization of Civil Codes in the Region“

The fifth scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Law around the topic of “Harmonization of Civil Codes in the Region“ was held in 2012. 25 participants presented their papers in several sections: Historical heritage of civil law, Harmonization and unification of civil codes, Positive civil law, Company law, Civil procedural law and Civil law relations involving a foreign element. Members of the Scientific Committee were: academician professor Slobodan Perović (Faculty of Law of University in Belgrade), professor Jakša Barbić (Faculty of Law of University in Zagreb), professor Mirko Vasiljević (Faculty of Law of University in Belgrade), professor Gordana Stanković (Faculty of Law of University in Niš), professor Arsen Janevski (Iustinianus Primus Faculty of Law of Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje), professor Slobodan Panov (Faculty of Law of University in Belgrade).
Professor Dijana Marković-Bajalović was editor in chief of the conference proceedings which contained 26 papers published on 509 pages. Authors from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Macedonia and Montenegro contributed with their papers. Authors were professors and teaching assistants from faculties of law in East Sarajevo, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Kragujevac, Niš, Priština (Kosovska Mitrovica), Podgorica (Mediterranean University), Skopje, Split, Banja Luka (Apeiron University) and legal experts from Ministry of Justice of Republic of Srpska, Constitutional Court of Republic of Srpska and Supreme Court of Republic of Srpska. International Scientific Conference “Rule of Law and Legal State in the Region“ was held on the occasion of the Day of the Faculty of Law in October in 2013. Conference organizers opted for this current and relevant topic as it addresses principles which ought to be fundamental to both organization and functioning of a modern democracy and to protection of individuals and their rights and freedoms. Such a broad topis provided an opportunty for participants to explore issues they deem significant for theoretical work, codification of norms and for establishing and applying principles of rule of law and legal state.
Over 50 participants presented their papers in several sections: Constitutional law section, Administrative law section, Theory of law section, Civil law section, Commercial law section and Other public law and historical aspects of the rule of law and legal state.

Scientific Conference “Twenty Years of Dayton Peace Agreement“

This scientific conference was dedicated to the twentieth anniversary of Dayton Peace Agreemnet which created new legal system in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Twenty years of controversial development and application of law, grounds for which were layed by this peace agreement, provided the opportunity for scientists from our and the neighbouring countries to analyse positive law in Bosnia and Herzegovina, point to its flaws and inconsistencies and share their views on how legal system is to be further developed and perfected. The focus was, naturally, on the legal system existing in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Scientific Committee, hovewer, insisted that B&H legal system be also analyzed from theoretical and comparative standpoint, especially in the light of the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina shares legal tradition with the neighbouring countries.
