Born on June 9, 1974 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Graduated from Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo in 2001. Earned her LLM degree at Faculty of Law, Unversity of Belgrade in 2008 with thesis titled Main Features of New Legislation on Criminal Proceedings in Republic of Srpska and its Importance for the Reform of the Code on Criminal Proceedings of Repulic of Serbia. Defended her doctoral thesis titled Juvenile Offenders in the Criminal Legislation of Republic of Srpska at Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo in 2013.

She has worked at the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo since 2001. Was elected assisatant professor for the scientific field of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure in 2013. Teaches graduate courses in Criminal Proceedings – General Part and Criminal Proceedings – Special Part and postgraduate courses in Juvenile Criminal Law and Execution of Criminal Santions.

In the period between 2009 and 2016 performed the duties of assistant for quality assurance at the Faculty of Law. Acted as president and as a member of disciplinary commission of the University of East Sarajevo (2008-2015). Served as vice-dean for the teaching process on two occasions: Feb 2014-July 2014 and Sep 2014-Jan 2017. Has been a member of the Board for Social Sciences of the University of East Sarajevo since 2015 and a member of the Professional Council for Monitoring and Improving the Execution of Criminal Sanctions of the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina since 2014.

Author of 13 academic papers. Book titled „Juvenile Offenders in the Criminal Legislation of Republic of Srpska“ edited by the Institute for Textbooks and Didactic Materials of Republic of Srpska is currently in press.
