Ivana Lazarević was born on 8 July 1988 in Sarajevo. She graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo, in 2011. She completed her Master’s studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, in 2016, defending her thesis entitled “The Object of a Registered Pledge.” She is currently a PhD candidate in Civil Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.

Since 2013, she has been employed at the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo. She was elected to the position of Senior Teaching Assistant in 2018. She teaches practical classes in Property Law and Civil Procedure Law (I and II).

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
