Ljubana Sladić was born on October 21, 1991 in Bijeljina. She graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo in 2014 with an average grade of 9.97. During her undergraduate studies, she was a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska, the Comsar Energy company, and the "Dr. Milan Jelić" Fund. She was awarded several times by the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo as the best student in her year and received the "Bogdan Loza" award as a student of the generation. He is the winner of the Plaque of the University of East Sarajevo for his success during his studies.

She defended her master's thesis entitled "Rehabilitation in Criminal Law" at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade in 2015 and completed her master's studies with an average grade of 10.00. From 2015 to 2017, she worked as an intern-volunteer at the Basic Court in Bijeljina. She passed the bar exam in 2018. In 2018, she enrolled in doctoral studies at the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, in the specialized field of criminal law. During her postgraduate studies, she was a scholarship recipient of the Ministry of Scientific and Technological Development, Higher Education and Information Society of the Republic of Srpska, as well as of the City of Bijeljina.

He has been working at the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo since 2018 as a senior assistant. Performs exercises in the subjects Criminology, Criminal procedural law - general part, Criminology with penology and Misdemeanor law. He is a member of the Association of Lawyers of the Republic of Srpska and secretary of the Department of Criminal Law. She was an academic mentor to the team of students of the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo, which participated in competitions in the simulation of criminal proceedings in 2023 and 2024. As a lecturer, she participated in the workshops "Violence in the family and violence against women - the response of the judiciary" as well as "Violence against women and girls supported by technologies". She was a member of the project team of the national scientific project "Bijeljina in the 20th century".

During 2024 and 2025, she was deputy associate for quality assurance at the Faculty of Law at the University of East Sarajevo. For several years, she has been a member of the organizing committees of international scientific gatherings held on the occasion of the Day of the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo, as well as the team for the promotion of the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo. She is a member of the project team of the University of East Sarajevo on the international projects PICTURES and RESIZE. Performs the tasks of technical preparation of Proceedings of international scientific meetings organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo.

She participated in numerous seminars, conferences, scientific gatherings and workshops.

She speaks English and uses Spanish and German.
